What information does MothComiX keep?
In order to use some of our systems (the searches, online purchasing, returning customers and such) we do employ cookies for user tracking, identification, and similar diagnostic and statistical information. We also may use these to check for browser compatibility, other website referrals, time spent on our site, and more basic info. No personal information about you is transmitted through our cookies - only IP and software identifier information.
If you make a purchase, our secure server will keep the information you provide in a protected database,. It will only be shared internally and with the credit card vendor during your purchase confirmation. This will allow you to make returning purchases easier, while allowing us to provide the best protection possible.
How secure is your site?
We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input.
We reveal only the last five digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing using a secure transmission method.
