When will my order ship?
We generally ship out orders once-a-week for USPS shipments, (this includes international airmail shipments.) and twice a week for UPS and Fedex. Unless you are ordering an item and asking for 2nd day or Overnight shipment, it can take 4-6 days for us to package your order properly and get it in the mail to you.
We're more often faster than that, (usually by the next day!) but we don't want to have you waiting by the door for an item without knowing our practices. If you are ever concerned about an order, you can just email us and inquire.
I'm an International buyer and I want to use a credit card or electronic payments. What are my options?
Sadly, our built-in ecommerce system does not allow for international buyers to use credit cards. This is a limitation placed upon us by our merchent account provider, to prevent fraud. In order to alleviate this issue, we do accept the following methods of payment from international buyers:

We accept any International Money orders made in US funds, but Reccomend Western Union's Bidpay for our aucitons.

We accept Checks from other countries, but we may wait up to 3-4 weeks to clear.

Do you take PayPal?
Yes! We now accept PayPal...
Although in the past we did not accept PayPal at all, with their new direct ties to Ebay, we feel that it is a viable and safe purchasing tool. Please email us for payment instructions. This is a viable payment method for international buyers using credit cards or Paypal Accounts, since our online system does not accept credit card purchases form international buyers.
How long have you been in business?
We have been selling artwork online for several years, and collecting and trading artwork and comic collectibles for over 15 years.

Why don't you sell comics generally like a neighborhood comic book store?
We decided early on to focus on rare comics, quality artwork, and unique collectibles within the comic field. This allows us to get the items our customers really want, without having to spend time focusing on the several hundred different titles that come out each month - titles that every one else sells. We wanted to be your source for the unique within comics!
Do you ever go to conventions?
Currently, MothComiX is looking into participating as a vendor at several comic book conventions across the country. We expect to be a major participant later this year and in 2005!
I like a particular artist/comic/character, but you don't seem to have any artwork for that! Can you help me?

I see an item for sale, but I want to mail you a check. How can I reserve it so no one else will buy it?
Yes! Just email us and tell us what piece your interested in! Or you can fax us at 425.696.0632. We can reserve an item to wait for payment for up to 1 business week. Sorry, but we cannot reserve items for international customers.
I see an item for sale, but the price is too high for me. Do you have any layaway options?
Yes! Just email us and we'll be glad to discuss layaway arrangements and options. Normally, for a layaway to begin, a 10% deposit will be required. Most other options such as time, payment options, and so forth, are negotiable.
What if I'm not happy with my purchase after I receive it?
We pride ourselves on our customers satisfaction. Check out our Refund and Returns policy for more details.
Do you have just a text list of your current artwork?
No. But our entire current inventory can be browsed by going to the search area and choosing "All Categories," leaving the search field blank, and clicking on "Search."
How do I get notified when you get new stuff in?
Just add yourself to our mailing list!
